June 18, 2007.  A call for an outside rubbish fire ends up as a major conflagration with the death of nine firefighters.  A horrible tragedy.

The investigative reports are starting to be released.  Excellent coverage of the incident from beginning to present can be found at The Charleston Post and Courier.

Coverage includes pictures, videos, audio, and written stories which are very instructive.

For your convenience, I will post the first 1-1/2 hours of fire radio traffic here.
